VRDNIK Vrdnik is a picturesque settlement on the southern side of Mount Fruska Gora, a well-known national park in Vojvodina. Vrdnik lies at the altitude of 200 m.a.s.l., surrounded by slopes of Mount Fruska Gora. It is 28 km from Novi Sad. The spa is provided with an outdoor and two indoor swimming pools, a pool for rehabilitation, a sauna and rehabilitation facilities. The mineral water is the temperature of 32.9 C and it is rich in sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chlorine, sulphates and nitrates. It is used for balneotherapy and recreational baths. MEDICAL INDICATIONS: The spa is recommended for the treatment of: extraarticular rheumatism, degenerative rheumatism, chronic rheumatism, disorders of the peripheral nervous system, post-operative conditions of the spine.
