Yugoslavia - "Team of journalists" 7-1 (3-1)

Belgrade, April 26 - Yugoslav national football team convincingly defeated team of Yugoslav players selected by Yugoslav sport journalists - 7-1.

"Team of journalists" opened the scoring after five minutes through OFK Beograd striker Petar Divic. Lazio midfielder Dejan Stankovic, the best player of the match, leveled in the 15th minute with a glorious 40-metre lob, and gave Yugoslavia a 2-1 lead with a 25-metre powerful shot in the 40th minute. Juventus striker Darko Kovacevic scored a third before the interval, and two goals piece followed from Kaiserslautern defender Slobodan Komljenovic (50, 85) as well as Mateja Kezman (76, 90), the up-and-coming star of Yugoslav football, who actually plays with Partizan from Belgrade.
