European championship in football started with the game Belgium - Sweden (2:1), played in Brussels June 10. Yugoslav representation will play the first game June 13 against Slovenia. Selector of the Yugoslav football representation Vujadin Boskov at the press conference June 11 expressed great pleasure because preparations of his team before the first game on the European championship are taking place in the best way.

According to Boskov, in the Yugoslav team, except slightly injuries of three football players, there are no problems, and injured players will recover completely till the game with Slovenia, which will take place in Belgium city of Sharlroa.

"Slovenians are playing very aggressive and strong football. Except from that, on the center of the field show extraordinary intelligence and there lies their basic strength of their representation", said Boskov.

Together with Boskov, at the press conference were Jovan Stankovic, Ljubinko Drulovic and Ivan Dudic.

"The best player of the Slovenia's representation is Zlatko Zahovic, with whom I played in Porto for three years. It is about an excellent player, who is extremely dangerous when he is near the penalty area, because he has great shot", said Drulovic.

Many compliments on the play of Slovenia representation's play, and especially on Milenko Acimovic, said right back of the Red star Ivan Dudic, with whom Avramovic already plays in the same club for two years.

"Acimovic is complete player, before whom is great career. Technically is very educated and is very hard to stop him in actions. He knows very well to find teammate, so he will cause problems to us who play in the defence", thinks Dudic.

Sportsmanlike, Yugoslav football players could call "European Brazilians", writes today "La Libre Belgique", presenting participants of the EURO 2000.

The newspaper emphasizes talent and "individual qualities" of the Yugoslav team, pointing out, besides all, Predrag Mijatovic's mastery and "art in the performance of free kicks" which Sinisa Mihajlovic shows.
