Basketball players for sports hall

Cuprija, 21st June (Tanjug) - National representative and Yugoslav minister for foreign affairs Zivadin Jovanovic informed inhabitants of Cuprija that the Yugoslav national basketball team that is now at the European championship in France would support construction of the sports hall in Cuprija that the NATO Alliance aircraft bombed on April 8, 1999.

"Golden boys of our basket-ball congratulate you, inhabitants of Cuprija, for the beginning of rebuilding your town and send you their words to stick to the started job. They also promise to render you full support in renewal and reconstruction of the sports hall in Cuprija, the beauty which has already given numerous Olympic and world champions in athletics", said Jovanovic in Cuprija, where he announced the start of construction of 25 apartments.
