Serbia appoints new government

March 3 - The Serbian parliament appointed on Wednesday Vojislav Kostunica as prime minister and approved his proposed 18-member cabinet by a vote of 130 to 113, with one abstention

March 2 - The Serbian parliament has today begun its first regular session, with the election of the new Serbian government on the agenda. Serbian parliament's speaker and deputy speakers appointed

Feb 4 - Serbian parliament members elected Dragan Marsicanin speaker of the parliament. Marsicanin, a candidate of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), picked up 128 votes from deputies of the DSS, the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO), New Serbia (NS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), while the other candidate, Serbian Radical Party's (SRS) Gordana Pop-Lazic, received 81 votes

Serbian parliament puts off its founding session
