Becej beat Mladost

The Becej's water-polo players were successful at the start of the European Champions' league, winning the game at their pool against the Mladost from Zagreb 9-6. The triumph of Becej was the result of the excellent play in the last two quarters - the Yugoslav champion won with the convincing 5-1.

The Partizan from Belgrade is at one step to the semi-finals of the Cup of Cup's winners as they won the first leg match against the Steaua in Bucharest 4-3 (1-0, 2-2, 0-0, 1-1). The guest team was leading 2-0 and 3-1, but the more experienced players of the host team succeeded to even the score 3-3. After all, the quality of the team from Belgrade was crucial at the end.

The Primorac water-polo team from Kotor was defeated by Jug 6-11 (2-6. 0-3, 2-1, 2-1) in the fist leg match of the LEN Cup in Dubrovnik.
