Becej runs safely through the Champions' League

The water polo players of Becej achieved another victory in the Champions' League, the Belgrade Partizan will play in the semi-finals of the Cup of Cup's Winners, while Primorac from Kotor was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the LEN Cup.

Becej has, after giving supreme performance, defeated the Russian champion Spartacus with the result of 12-4 (3-1, 3-0, 4-0, 2-3). In the next round, the Yugoslav champion will play in Berlin against the home team Spandau 04.

Partizan, in the second-leg match, recorded the second win against the Romanian Steaua 7-6 (1-2, 1-1, 2-1, 3-2), and secured its place in the semi-finals of the Cup of Cup's Winners, where it will meet with the Moscow Dinamo. The first match is scheduled to be played on February 26th or 27th in Moscow, and the second-leg match will be on March 11th or 12th in Belgrade.

Primorac was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the LEN Cup after beating Dubrovnik Jug 7-6 (3-1, 3-2, 0-1, 1-2) in Kotor. In the first-leg match, Jug won 11-6.
