The best: Grbic, Sekaric and water polo team

Vladimir Grbic

Belgrade, December 24 (Tanjug) - Volleyball player Vladimir Grbic was elected best Yugoslav athlete of the year 2000 by the Yugoslav Olympic Committee.

Grbic is a member of the Yugoslav team which won the gold medal in the Sydney Olympics and was elected best European player in 2000 by the international volleyball federation.


Jasna Sekaric

Jasna Sekaric, winner of the silver medal in Sydney Olympics in pistol marksmanship, was elected best Yugoslav woman athlete of the year. Yugoslavia's volleyball team was elected the best men's team.
