OLYMPIAKOS Athens (GREECE) - BECEJ (YUGOSLAVIA) 7-8 (3-2, 2-1, 0-3, 2-2). Attendance: 200. Referees: Amedeo Clara (Italy) and Radoslaw Koryzna (Poland).

Athens, GREECE, March 24 - No other team in this season was so close to a victory against the defending champion Becej. Olympiakos Piraeus was leading 5-3 after two quarters, but after a quite a poor third quarter the Greek champion still lost against the Yugoslavians which are now unbeaten in international matches for almost two years.

Aleksandar Sapic did not only score four goals to bring his personal record to 18 in five matches, but also the decisive hattrick in the third quarter.
