YUGOSLAVIA - Brazil 13-5

Fukuoka, JAPAN, July 23 - Brazil needed to win to advance to the next round but the mountain was too high to climb. It was an easy game for Yugoslavia. After first two quarters, the match was put beyond the doubt as the Sydney bronze medallists and European champions had a 7-2 lead.

As a second-placed team in group A, Yugoslavia advanced to the quarterfinal group, where they will play Greece, Hungary and Khazakstan.
