Rome, ITALY, August 17 (agencies) - Juventus have confirmed the signing of Lazio striker Marcelo Salas. According to sports daily Corriere dello Sport, Juventus will send Yugoslavia's striker Darko Kovacevic and $12 million to Lazio.

Juventus needs a forward for the upcoming season to replace striker Filippo Inzaghi, who joined AC Milan in the offseason.
