Yugoslavia to play against Spain, Canada, Angola

Indianapolis, USA, February 6 (agencies) - The draw for the 14th World Men's Basketball Championship was held on 5th February 2002 at Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, USA.

Yugoslavia will play in Group A against Spain, Canada and Angola.

The other groups:

Group B: Brazil, Turkey, Puerto Rico and Lebanon
Group C: US, Germany, China and Algeria, and
Group D: Argentina, Russia, New Zealand and Venezuela.

Yugoslavia will play against Angola in the 1st round, against Spain in the 2nd and against Canada in the 3rd round.

The three best teams in each group will qualify for the second round.

The championship will be held in Indianapolis, USA, from August 29 to September 8.
