Kings - Grizzlies 106-98

Stojakovic dunks against Memphis Grizzlies

Sacramento. USA, January 12 (AP) - Peja Stojakovic scored a season-high 30 points and had eight rebounds Sunday night, leading the Sacramento Kings to a 106-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

It was the 10th straight loss for the Grizzlies in Sacramento, where they have lost 15 of 16 times in franchise history.

In winning for the fifth time in six games, the Kings ran the break with efficiency and shot well from the perimeter, building a 14-point halftime lead and went into the fourth quarter ahead 90-74.

The Grizzlies cut the lead to six points midway through the fourth period, but Vlade Divac made a shot from close range and converted a baseline dunk off a pass from Stojakovic, giving the Kings a 101-91 lead with 3:32 remaining.

It was Stojakovic, who has suffered through injuries this season, looking like the All-Star of last year. He made three 3-pointers and connected on 12 of 19 shots overall.

Chris Webber had 22 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for the Kings, who meet the Dallas Mavericks for the first time Wednesday night at home.

Mike Bibby scored 17 points and had six assists, while Doug Christie added 13 points and nine assists.

Pau Gasol had 26 points, 12 rebounds and six turnovers for Memphis, which lost its third straight game and is 1-16 this year on the road. Reserve Drew Gooden scored 17 points, Jason Williams had 13 points and seven assists, while Stromile Swift added 13 points and nine rebounds.
