Bojan Djordjic moves to Red Star

Belgrade, July 21 - Manchester United's Swedish midfielder Bojan Djordjic agreed a one-year deal with Red Star Belgrade, Serbian media reported on Monday.

Djordjic joined United's youth team in 1999 but never made the transition to the first team as he competed for Ryan Giggs's left-side spot in midfield. He spent the past season on loan with Danish Superleague club AGF Aarhus.

The Yugoslavian-born 21-year-old, whose father Ranko Djordjic played for Red Star in the early eighties, has nine under-21 caps for Sweden but is yet to play for their first team.
