Serbia-Montenegro - Hungary 8-7

Naples, ITALY, August 17 - After fifth European junior title in a row, the team of Serbia and Montenegro this summer also won the world championships' title. In the final match of the 12th FINA Junior Men's Water Polo World Championships, Serbia-Montenegro beat Hungary after overtime. Boris Zlokovic scored the winning goal for new world champions.

Serbia and Montenegro - Hungary 8-7 (1-2, 2-0, 1-1, 2-3, 1-1, 1-0)

Attendance: 1,200. Goals in man-up: Serbia-Montenegro 4/13, Hungary 4/9. Scorers for Serbia-Montenegro: Filip Filipovic (3), Marko Cuk (2), Djordje Filipovic (1), Mladen Janovic (1) and Boris Zlokovic (1). Scorers for Hungary: Daniel Varga (3), Miklos Gor-Nagy (1), Norbert Hosnyawszky (1), Krisztian Letay (1) and Balasz Sziranyi (1).

ROAD TO GOLD: Australia 6-2, Russia 9-8, Egypt 15-1, Canada 24-4, United Kingdom 18-2 (eighth-finals), Germany 13-4 (quarterfinals), Italy 11-1 (semifinals), Hungary 8-7.
