Mortal remains of four Serbs delivered

Merdare, Sept 18, 2003 - Mortal remains of four Serbs killed in Kosovo-Metohija were handed over to their families at the Merdare border crossing.

The families took over the bodies of Jovan Lazarevic (87) who was kidnapped in Djakovica, Petar Djuric (60), killed in his house in Istok, Gordana Jovanovic (48), killed together with her husband in Prizren, and Radivoje Drakulovic (67), also killed in Prizren.

According to data of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija, the total of 209 bodies was exhumed and 80 identified on the territory of the province by August this year.
