Belgrade, October 7 - Dragan Dzajic has been voted the best player in Serbia and Montenegro over the past 50 years, country's football federation announced Tuesday.

Dzajic, who made 85 appearances for the former Yugoslavia from 1968 to 1979, was chosen by a panel of 18 former national team coaches and captains. Dragan Stojkovic was second and Dejan Savicevic third.

Dzajic won five league titles and four national cups with Red Star Belgrade from 1961-75 and went on to become the club's director after retiring, a position he held when the club won the European Cup in 1991.
