"Underwater - May Waters Be Clean" competition concludes

Belgrade, Dec 5, 2003 The Serbian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection said that Minister Andjelka Mihajlov would present awards to winners of the competition "Underwater - May Waters Be Clean" organised for primary school pupils on the occasion of the International festival of underwater film that takes place in Belgrade from Dec 5 to 9.

The jury comprising Aleksandar Markovic, Vojislav Kordic and Ivana Orlovic decided to award those drawings that had the most powerful message as well as artistic quality.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Culture and Media are sponsors of the International festival of underwater film whose founder and main organizer is "Beograd" - club of underwater activities. Also backing the festival are Belgrade City Assembly, Stari Grad municipality, the association of the divers of Belgrade, Serbia-Montenegro, and the Association of Sports of Belgrade and Association of Diving Instructors.
