Prime Minister meets new Serbia-Montenegro ambassador to Russia

Belgrade, Dec 23, 2003 - Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic met last night with the newly appointed ambassador of Serbia-Montenegro to Moscow, Milan Rocen.

Zivkovic and Rocen agreed that one of Serbia-Montenegro's main priorities is to intensify bilateral connections with the Russian Federation.

As part of the traditionally good connections between Serbia-Montenegro and the Russian Federation, economic cooperation between the two countries plays an important role. Regulating the debt issue and promoting economic opportunities for potential Russian investors in Serbia should be emphasised in the forthcoming period, the government's press service said in a statement.
