Belgrade, Jan 27, 2004 - The Serbian parliament voted unanimously on Friday to elect members of the 29 permanent parliamentary committees, wrapping up its constitutive session that started on Jan 27.

As part of the session, the parliament elected Marko Danilovic as parliament secretary, while the Democratic Part of Serbia (DSS) formed its caucus, picking Dejan Mihajlov as its whip and Branislav Ristivojevic as his deputy.

Parliament speaker Dragan Marsicanin scheduled extraordinary sessions for Monday and Thursday when deputies are due to debate changes to the parliament's standing orders to allow for the appointment of a sixth deputy speaker, as well as an amendment to the law on electing Serbian parliament delegation in the Serbia-Montenegrin parliament.
