Mitros tender fails

Belgrade, Feb 17, 2004 - A tender for the sale of Sremska Mitrovica-based Mitros was declared unsuccessful on Tuesday, since the sole bidder, a consortium of Pro Bekom, Krmivo Produkt, and C Market, had failed to submit required guarantees to the Serbian Privatisation Agency

The consortium has offered €3 million for Mitros' capital and a further €5.4 million investment in the first year. It also accepted a proposed social welfare programme for redundant workforce.
