Serbia's retail prices up 0.9 percent in February

Belgrade, Feb 27, 2004 - Serbia's retail prices in January inched up 0.9 percent from a month earlier, with goods going up by 0.3 percent and prices of services by 0.7 percent, the Serbian statistics office said in a statement Friday

The cost of living was higher by 0.7 percent compared with January, the statement added.

Prices of agricultural produce rose 0.1 percent, food products 0.6 percent, non-food products 0.2 percent, while services rose 2.7 percent on average, reads the statement.
