Serbia to appoint new government on March 2

Belgrade, March 1, 2004 - The Serbian parliament will hold a session to elect a new government on Tuesday, March 2, according to the parliament's information office.

The prime minister designate is Vojislav Kostunica, president of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), while Miroljub Labus of the G 17 Plus is a candidate for the post of the deputy prime minister in charge of European integration.
