Bodiroga reacts to points scored in the final seconds

Barcelona, SPAIN, May 11 (AP) - Serbian star Dejan Bodiroga scored 20 points as FC Barcelona won its first ever Euroleague title with a 76-65 victory over Italy's Benetton Treviso on Sunday.

Fans rushed the court at the Palau Sant Jordi stadium before the game ended. It was Barcelona's sixth trip to the final and Benetton's second.

Bodiroga was selected MVP. American Tyus Edney scored 16 for Benetton Treviso. It was Bodiroga's third Euroleague championship after winning two with former team Panathinaikos of Greece in 2000 and 2002.

Barcelona coach Svetislav Pesic won his first title. Pesic led Yugoslavia to its fifth world championship last year in Indianapolis and was signed by FC Barcelona this season.

Earlier in the day, Italy's Montepaschi Siena defeated CSKA Moscow 79-78 to win third place in the tournament. American guard Alphonso Ford led all scorers with 19 points.
